The local area is one of the more remote and lesser-known parts of Cumbria and boasts outstanding scenery, as well as some of the best and less frequented walking routes, including some Wainwright classics.The Park itself offers a range of on-site facilities including a laundry room, children’s play area, and a bar, yet retains its tranquil surrounds making it a haven for some of the UK’s rarest wildlife species including the native red squirrel.
